**Mathematics Department Information**

**Key Stage 5**

At KS5, students are taught in sets of approximately 20 to 25 students. All students have access to Integral Maths, an online resource developed by the exam board MEI which provides extensive notes, exercises and interactive walthroughs of the subject content. The pace and difficulty of A-Level means that students will need to practice extensively in their own time, making good use of the resources available to them; students who leave their revision to the month/weeks preceding the exams are likely to significantly under-perform.

With the start of the new A-Level syllabus in September 2017 there is some difference in the provision that Years 12 and 13 receive:

**Year 12**

Board: OCR A

Pure and Mechanics: 5ppf

Pure and Statistics: 4ppf

**Year 13**

Board: OCR A

Pure and Mechanics: 5ppf

Pure and Statistics: 4ppf
